The Greater Kansas City Employee Benefit Professionals Association is a nonprofit organization established in 1994 for the benefit of individuals who devote the majority of their time to the sale of, marketing of and consultation with respect to employee benefit plans.

Currently the organization has over 400 members from 90 different companies, including insurance carriers, brokers, and third party providers.

EBPA offers its members -

  • Four luncheon meetings during the year
  • Half day seminar in June
  • Social events such as a golf tournament
  • Online membership directory
  • 4-5 issues of an e-newsletter
  • Continuing education credit for all of its meetings and seminar

EBPA provides its members with information on the latest information in the field of employee benefits, continuing education, and networking with their peers.

The annual benefits seminar in June usually offers 5 hours of CE credit.

Membership may be either as an individual or through a company.  Check out the "Become a Member" page for further information and membership fees.  Only members are eligible to receive CE credits.

2017 Charity

Each year the EBPA picks a charity to support through donations and its golf event.  This year the charity is the BLUE DOOR PROJECT.  For further information on the Blue Door Project, click here.
