Direct Primary Care & Partially Self-Funded Plans: The Silver Bullet

Two years ago, right before joining Madrigal & Associates, Mark Owens discovered DPC, or Direct Primary Care, and it changed the direction of his professional life.  As he has gone around the state, building relationships with DPC doctors and meeting with employer groups, he realized that packaging a partially self-insured major medical plan together with Direct Primary Care gives brokers and agents a powerful new strategic solution, and an alternative to inefficient fully insured plans, that we haven't had for decades.

Join us on February 16  when Mark will share his views on Direct Primary Care and Partially Self-Funded Plans with us.

•  One hour of CE credit has been approved in Kansas and Missouri. •

• Only 2017 and 2018 members are eligible to receive the CE credits.  •

• There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. •

Mark Owens has been in the health insurance and employee benefits arena for 16 years.  2 of those were spent on the carrier side with Delta Dental of Kansas, managing client retention and large group renewals across the state, and 12 were spent as the owner and principle of Executive Benefits Group, an independent health, life and employee benefits agency.  A year and a half ago, in August of 2016, he was invited to merge Executive Benefits Group with Madrigal & Associates, a respected 40-year P&C agency in Wichita, giving his team a larger infrastructure and client base to work with, and giving Madrigal & Associates the ability for the very first time to not only provide employee benefit solutions, but to surround clients with a team of independent business insurance professionals in each and every commercial and group specialty.

Mark lives in Wichita with his wife Stephanie, their four children, and their pug Sophie the Wonder Dog.  When he's not saving the world with DPC and partially self-insured group plans, his passion is music, and he can be found playing his beloved 70's classic rock around the Wichita regional and metro area with his band Radioflyer."
